The Sony Ericsson Walkman site is both massively ambitious and massively successful, with nearly 60,000 user created worlds in the database (as of July 2007). The site provides a creative world building kit and contains a mixture of marketing and user created content. The project is also ambitious from a graphical point of view.
Many Flash developers worked on the site. My input was to rebuild the social section of the Flash site from scratch. Using the exsiting remote services and data, I completely rebuilt the front end, speeding up the rendering and adding some hither-to, impossible features.
